What It Means To Be Protected
Hey y’all. Here to share and de-mystify methods of protection when it comes to magic. First if you haven’t already check out The Magic & The Mundane since I will be expanding on this.
As I mentioned before magic stems from internal conviction, belief, and faith. When people are under the assumption that there are spiritual warfare the first thing you should be aware of is the state of your mind. People have confessed to thinking there are grand schemes and murdered chickens that are the root of their misfortune… which will not be the case for most. To be quite clear, those who are truly working their craft wouldn’t actually need to do such labor intensive work.
Fear and intimidation are the best tools for baneful work, why? Because if someone can make you believe there is something terrible happening to you, your own conviction will manifest the fate without them having to pour any of their own energy into it. Sabotage and confirmation bias will have you restricting yourself and jeopardizing yourself just to align to what you think someone is doing to you.
To be protected is to have impeccable software (mental fortitude). It doesn’t mean that your mental health may never dip. When you are strong internally even if you know you are prone to depression for example, you have the sight of seeing what it looks like when you stray before you have to crash and that is where your leverage is. You have the ability to catch yourself and remain on a clear and focused path. In order to have this kind of sight and fortitude you need to do the work of understanding yourself and your patterns to plausibly do the required software maintenance [reworking anything maladaptive or unsustainable to your authenticity or goals]. Essentially you need to be your own IT person at the bare minimum.
I’m not saying you cannot have the support of deities, religion, and other forms of magic or ancestral veneration. Though it would be a lost cause — like trying to buy a warranty after your phone broke. You can still do it, but you would be working backwards not understanding the ins and outs of your own “device” first. When you can keep yourself “up to date” even if someone was trying to put you in harms way your boundaries and extended warranties [extra support] would be make it immensely difficult to succeed.
