What would you guys say if I just did tarot talk all month? How do we feel about that? Leave your nay or yay in the usual place Thee Gathering

Today’s tarot talk segment is actually one of my favorite cards; The 6 of Swords. We’re just gonna break this down the DWK way so I won’t be mentioning the elements of the traditional imagery. First with the Numerology as we may know Fives are always about change, sometimes this can cause conflict in the world of tarot, but universally the change will never feel good despite always being better for you. That leads us to Six. In the world of tarot the Six is a victory after something hard. The example I usually give to people is let’s say you are a warrior called into battle and now you only have 3 fingers left on each hand — yes that can suck (aka this is 5 energy). The plus side is the opposition has been terminated so despite the loss of a few fingers you were able to live to fight another day (6 energy). We don’t pretend that everything is okay but we acknowledge the fight as well as our wins afterwards.

Moving on let’s get into the element of the card. We have the swords suit which is tied to the air element. That’s communication, mindset, systems, analysis and logistics. In this case I want to emphasize about this card is this can be communication styles, self-talk and mindsets, or even physical environments. This card is illuminating a few things all circling around transition. From a limiting belief to a healthy one, negative self talk to an encouraging or loving one, a toxic environment or system to something better suited.

When the six of swords pays you a visit ask yourself:

What feels like it is in transition around me? Is my perspective shifting on something? Do I have a limiting belief I’m ready to let go of? Have I outgrown a space or phase? Have my values changed? Where am I feeling unfulfilled? What elements of my past am I ready to separate my present from? What am I holding onto that may be taking more than it gives back?

That’s all from me y’all!
